Our History
Northern Electric LLC. began in 1995 as Westland Electric, founded by the late Robert Westland. Robert (Or uncle Bob, as we call him) originally started the business as small handyman service. Before long he grew successful enough that he needed bring on his nephew, Dave Singleton to help with bigger and bigger jobs before eventually changing the name to Northern Electric and having Dave take over the day to day operations. Later, Dave took over as administrator and owner when Robert retired. Eventually Dave's wife, Carla joined the company as a journeyman electrician, as well as his brother, Dan. As the family grew, so did the business, with Dave and Carla's children joining the company as the years went on.

Northern Electric LLC. remains family owned and operated to this day. What this means for you is simple: We Care! Northern Electric isn't just a business to us, it's our family. We pride ourselves on staying up to date and our electricians all take part in continuing their education to be the best in their field and expand their skills. As a small business ourselves, Northern Electric understands the importance of supporting the local economy and shopping with small businesses. We purchase all of our supplies from small businesses and primarily do business with local companies in the Spokane area.
